Twenty-Seven Cleanser 24 ingredients
  1. Aqua Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
  2. Cocamidopropyl Betaine Surfactants. Amphoteric foam booster, mild.
  3. Decyl Glucoside Surfactants. Sugar-based non-ionic, very mild.
  4. Cellulose Gum Emulsifiers. Binding, emulsion stabilising, film forming, masking, viscosity controlling
  5. Niacinamide Actives. Vitamin B3. Sebum, barrier, pigment transfer, at 2 to 5 percent.
  6. Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract Humectants. Mild humectant with soothing polysaccharides.
  7. Glycolic Acid Actives. Smallest AHA, deepest penetration.
  8. Xanthan Gum Thickeners and film formers. Natural gum thickener.
  9. Cinnamomum Cassia Bark Extract (Cinnamon) Fragrance, colour, solvents. Hair conditioning, masking, oral care
  10. Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract Fragrance, colour, solvents. Masking, perfuming, skin conditioning, tonic
  11. Sanguisorba Officinalis Root Extract Surfactants. Cleansing, refreshing, skin conditioning, tonic
  12. Butylene Glycol Humectants. Solvent and humectant, improves spread of actives.
  13. Salicylic Acid Actives. BHA, oil-soluble, clears inside the pore.
  14. Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil Fragrance, colour, solvents. Masking, perfuming, refreshing, tonic
  15. Sodium Gluconate pH adjusters and chelators. Mild chelator.
  16. Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf OilFeeds Malassezia Actives. Melaleuca essential oil, antibacterial at 5 percent.
  17. Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil Fragrance, colour, solvents. Masking, skin conditioning
  18. Propylene Glycol Humectants. Glycol solvent and humectant, the older sibling of propanediol.
  19. Cymbopogon Citratus Extract Other ingredients. Hair conditioning, skin conditioning
  20. Phenoxyethanol Preservatives. The standard broad-spectrum preservative at up to 1 percent.
  21. Ethylhexylglycerin Preservatives. Preservative booster and deodorising agent.
  22. Fragrance Fragrance, colour, solvents. Undisclosed fragrance blend.
  23. Sodium Hydroxide pH adjusters and chelators. Base for neutralising acids and carbomers.
  24. Sodium Benzoate Preservatives. Food-grade preservative, works below pH 5.5.
