1. Aqua Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
2. Sodium Laureth Sulfate Surfactants. Ethoxylated SLS, milder.
3. Cocamidopropyl Betaine Surfactants. Amphoteric foam booster, mild.
4. Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate Surfactants. Cleansing, hair conditioning, skin conditioning
5. Propylene Glycol Humectants. Glycol solvent and humectant, the older sibling of propanediol.
6. Polyquaternium-39 Thickeners and film formers. Antistatic, film forming
7. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
8. PEG -7 Glyceryl Cocoate Surfactants. Emulsifying, surfactant
9. Sodium Lactate pH adjusters and chelators. Buffering, humectant, keratolytic
10. Salicylic Acid Actives. BHA, oil-soluble, clears inside the pore.
11. Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6 Emulsifiers. Emulsion stabilising, viscosity controlling
12. Triethanolamine pH adjusters and chelators. Amine neutraliser.
13. Zinc PCA Actives. Zinc salt with sebum-reducing data.
14. Centella Asiatica Actives. Madecassoside and asiaticoside, calming and collagen support.
