  4. Octyl Methoxycinnamate Old-generation UV filters. Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, UVB. Degrades avobenzone.
  5. Caprylic Capric TriglycerideMalassezia borderline Emollients. Fractionated coconut triglyceride.
  6. Glyceryl MonostearateFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Workhorse non-ionic emulsifier.
  7. Glycerine Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.

  9. Isopropyl MyristatePore-clogging 5/5Feeds Malassezia Emollients. Penetration enhancer, classic comedogen.
  10. Cetyl AlcoholPore-clogging 2/5 Emollients. Fatty alcohol thickener.
  11. Dimethicone Emollients. Non-volatile silicone, slip and light occlusion.
  12. BeeswaxFeeds Malassezia Occlusives. Wax occlusive and thickener.
  13. Cocoa Butter
  14. Aloe Barbadensis Extract Humectants. Mild humectant with soothing polysaccharides.
  15. Almond Oil
  16. Carbomer Thickeners and film formers. Acrylic gel former, needs neutralising.

  18. Glutathione Other ingredients. Reducing
  19. Methyl Paraben Preservatives. Methyl and propyl paraben, the most studied preservatives.

  24. Titanium Dioxide Mineral filters and pigments. UVB particulate, often a booster in hybrids.
  25. Allantoin Actives. Soothing keratolytic.
  26. Sodium Hydroxide pH adjusters and chelators. Base for neutralising acids and carbomers.
  27. EDTA Disodium pH adjusters and chelators. Chelator that protects preservatives.
  28. Perfume Fragrance, colour, solvents. Undisclosed fragrance blend.
