2. Isopropyl Palmitate Binding, emollient, masking, perfuming
3. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
4. Glyceryl monostearateFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Workhorse non-ionic emulsifier.
5. Sodium Lactate Buffering, humectant, keratolytic
6. Emulsifying wax
7. Cetyl AlcoholPore-clogging 2/5 Emollients. Fatty alcohol thickener.
8. Shea ButterFeeds Malassezia Emollients. Rich plant butter.
9. Dimethicone Emollients. Non-volatile silicone, slip and light occlusion.
10. Cocoa butter
11. Benzyl Alcohol Perfuming, preservative, solvent, viscosity controlling
12. Triethanolamine pH adjusters and chelators. Amine neutraliser.
13. Carbomar
14. Potassium sorbate Preservatives. Antifungal preservative, works at low pH.
15. Sodium Benzoate Preservatives. Food-grade preservative, works below pH 5.5.
16. Allantoin Actives. Soothing keratolytic.
17. Disodium EDTA pH adjusters and chelators. Chelator that protects preservatives.
18. Vitamine E Acetate Antioxidants. Stable vitamin E ester.
