  1. Water Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
  2. Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate Old-generation UV filters. Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, UVB. Degrades avobenzone.
  3. Propanediol Humectants. Corn-derived glycol, solvent and humectant.
  4. Ethylhexyl Salicylate Old-generation UV filters. Ethylhexyl salicylate, weak UVB solvent-filter.
  5. Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate Modern UV filters. Oil-soluble UVA I filter, peak 354 nm. Max 10 percent.
  6. Ethylhexyl Benzoate Emollients. Emollient, skin conditioning, solvent
  7. Ethylhexyl Methoxyphenyl Triazine
  8. Dimethicone Emollients. Non-volatile silicone, slip and light occlusion.
  9. Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid Modern UV filters. Water-soluble UVB filter from the 1990s.
  10. Titanium Dioxide Mineral filters and pigments. UVB particulate, often a booster in hybrids.
  11. 1,2-Hexanediol Preservatives. Glycol with antimicrobial effect, humectant.
