  4. Hyaluronic Acid Humectants. Sits on the surface and holds water in a film.
  5. Xylitol Humectants. Humectant, skin conditioning
  6. Glucose Humectants. Humectant
  7. Anhydroxylitol Humectants. Humectant, skin conditioning
  8. Phoenix Dactylifera (Date Palm) Extract
  9. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
  10. Glyceryl StearateFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Workhorse non-ionic emulsifier.
  11. PEG 100 StearateFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Partner to glyceryl stearate.
  12. Dimethicone Emollients. Non-volatile silicone, slip and light occlusion.
  13. Phenoxyethanol Preservatives. The standard broad-spectrum preservative at up to 1 percent.
  14. Ethylhexylglycerin Preservatives. Preservative booster and deodorising agent.
  15. Cetostearyl AlcoholPore-clogging 2/5 Emollients. Fatty alcohol thickener and co-emulsifier.
