  1. Aqua Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
  2. Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate Old-generation UV filters. Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, UVB. Degrades avobenzone.
  3. Niacinamide Actives. Vitamin B3. Sebum, barrier, pigment transfer, at 2 to 5 percent.
  4. Cyclopentasiloxane Emollients. Emollient, hair conditioning, skin conditioning, solvent
  5. Dimethicone Crosspolymer Emulsifiers. Emulsion stabilising, hair fixing, viscosity controlling
  6. Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl
  7. Tetramethylbutylphenol

  11. Maltooligosyl Glucoside and Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysate
  12. Decyl Glucoside Surfactants. Sugar-based non-ionic, very mild.
  13. Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate Surfactants. Mild anionic for rinse-off.
  14. Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate Surfactants. Mild anionic with good foam.
  15. Propylene Glycol Humectants. Glycol solvent and humectant, the older sibling of propanediol.
  16. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.

  25. DMDM Hydantoin & Methylchloroisothiazolinone & Methylisothiazolinone
  26. Sodium Hydroxide pH adjusters and chelators. Base for neutralising acids and carbomers.
