  4. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
  5. Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside Surfactants. Cleansing, foaming, surfactant
  6. Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate Surfactants. Cleansing, foaming, surfactant
  7. Coco Glucoside Surfactants. Sugar-based non-ionic, mild.
  8. Lauryl Glucoside Surfactants. Cleansing, surfactant

  11. Ascorbic Acid Actives. Pure vitamin C, needs pH 3.5 and 10 to 20 percent.
