  4. Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane Old-generation UV filters. UVA I filter that breaks down in sunlight unless stabilised.
  5. Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid Modern UV filters. Water-soluble UVB filter from the 1990s.
  6. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
  7. Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate Old-generation UV filters. Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, UVB. Degrades avobenzone.
  8. Caprylic/Capric TriglycerideMalassezia borderline Emollients. Fractionated coconut triglyceride.
