  2. Glycerine Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
  3. Butylene Glycol Humectants. Solvent and humectant, improves spread of actives.
  4. Propanediol Humectants. Corn-derived glycol, solvent and humectant.
  5. Sodium Hyaluronate Humectants. Smaller fragments reach the upper epidermis.
  6. 1,2-Hexanediol Preservatives. Glycol with antimicrobial effect, humectant.
  7. Betaine Humectants. Sugar-beet osmolyte, reduces sting from other ingredients.
  8. Blue Gardenia Extract
  9. Carrageenan Gum
  10. D-Panthenol
  11. Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6 Emulsifiers. Emulsion stabilising, viscosity controlling
  12. Allantoin Actives. Soothing keratolytic.
  13. Disodium EDTA pH adjusters and chelators. Chelator that protects preservatives.
  14. Phenoxyethanol Preservatives. The standard broad-spectrum preservative at up to 1 percent.
  15. Ethylhexylglycerin Preservatives. Preservative booster and deodorising agent.
