  1. Aqua Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
  2. Cetearyl AlcoholPore-clogging 2/5 Emollients. Fatty alcohol thickener and co-emulsifier.
  3. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
  4. Betaine Humectants. Sugar-beet osmolyte, reduces sting from other ingredients.
  5. Niacinamide Actives. Vitamin B3. Sebum, barrier, pigment transfer, at 2 to 5 percent.
  6. Sodiui Cocoyl Isethionate Surfactants. Mild anionic, creamy foam.
  7. Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate Surfactants. Cleansing, surfactant
  8. Panthenol Humectants. Provitamin B5, humectant and wound-healing support.
  9. Sodium Benzoate Preservatives. Food-grade preservative, works below pH 5.5.
  10. Citric Acid pH adjusters and chelators. Acid for pH adjustment.
  11. Xanthan Gum Thickeners and film formers. Natural gum thickener.
