- Demineralized water (aqua) Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
- Stearic acid Surfactants. Cleansing, emulsifying, emulsion stabilising, masking, refatting, surfactant
- Cetyl alcoholPore-clogging 2/5 Emollients. Fatty alcohol thickener.
- Glycerine Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
- Potassium hydroxide pH adjusters and chelators. Buffering
- Sodium gluconate pH adjusters and chelators. Mild chelator.
- Lactic acid Actives. AHA with humectant effect.
- Niacinamide Actives. Vitamin B3. Sebum, barrier, pigment transfer, at 2 to 5 percent.
- Cucumber extract
- Aloe vera extract
- Almond oil
- Alpha arbutin Actives. Hydroquinone glycoside, tyrosinase inhibitor.
- Pisum sativum (Pea) extract Other ingredients. Skin conditioning, skin protecting
