  3. Cetyl AlcoholPore-clogging 2/5 Emollients. Fatty alcohol thickener.
  4. Stearic Acid Surfactants. Cleansing, emulsifying, emulsion stabilising, masking, refatting, surfactant
  5. Cetearyl AlcoholPore-clogging 2/5 Emollients. Fatty alcohol thickener and co-emulsifier.
  6. Shea ButterFeeds Malassezia Emollients. Rich plant butter.
  7. Glyceryl StearateFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Workhorse non-ionic emulsifier.
  8. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
  9. Sodium PCA Humectants. A natural moisturising factor component.
  10. Carbomer Thickeners and film formers. Acrylic gel former, needs neutralising.
