  1. Aqua Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
  2. Cocoamidopropyl Betaine Surfactants. Amphoteric foam booster, mild.
  3. Sodium Lauryl Sarcosinate Surfactants. Mild anionic with good foam.
  4. Decyl Glucoside Surfactants. Sugar-based non-ionic, very mild.
  5. Butylene Glycol Humectants. Solvent and humectant, improves spread of actives.
  6. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
  7. Salicylic Acid Actives. BHA, oil-soluble, clears inside the pore.
  8. Sodium Polyacrylate Thickeners and film formers. Quick-thickening polymer.
  9. Niacinamide Actives. Vitamin B3. Sebum, barrier, pigment transfer, at 2 to 5 percent.
  10. Polydextrose Humectants. Bulking, humectant
  11. Caffeine Actives. Vasoconstrictor and antioxidant, used for puffiness.
  12. Phenoxyethanol Preservatives. The standard broad-spectrum preservative at up to 1 percent.
