Foxtale Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++++ 23 ingredients
  1. Aqua Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
  2. C12-15 Alkyl benzoateFeeds Malassezia Emollients. Medium ester, strong filter solvent.
  3. Propylene glycol Humectants. Glycol solvent and humectant, the older sibling of propanediol.
  4. Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol Modern UV filters. Particulate broad spectrum filter in water dispersion.
  5. Decyl Glucoside Surfactants. Sugar-based non-ionic, very mild.
  6. Xanthan Gum Thickeners and film formers. Natural gum thickener.
  7. Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate Modern UV filters. Oil-soluble UVA I filter, peak 354 nm. Max 10 percent.
  8. Cetearyl OlivateFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Cetearyl olivate and sorbitan olivate, liquid-crystal emulsifier.

  13. Glyceryl monostearateFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Workhorse non-ionic emulsifier.
  14. Phenoxyethanol Preservatives. The standard broad-spectrum preservative at up to 1 percent.
  15. Ethylhexylglycerin Preservatives. Preservative booster and deodorising agent.
  16. Octenidine HCl Preservatives. Cationic antiseptic used by a few Indian labs.
  17. Ethyl ascorbic acid Actives. Stable, oil and water soluble vitamin C.
  18. Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer Thickeners and film formers. Gel former that holds oils in suspension.
  19. TocopherolPore-clogging 2/5 Antioxidants. Vitamin E, free form.
  20. Aminomethyl propanol pH adjusters and chelators. Amine neutraliser, cleaner than TEA.
