1. Purified Water Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
2. Capric Caprylic Triglyceride
3. Glyceryl Mono StearateFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Workhorse non-ionic emulsifier.
4. Glycerine Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
5. Cetyl AlcoholPore-clogging 2/5 Emollients. Fatty alcohol thickener.
6. Sweet Almond Oil
7. Dimethicone Emollients. Non-volatile silicone, slip and light occlusion.
8. Benzyl Alcohol Preservatives. Perfuming, preservative, solvent, viscosity controlling
9. Xanthan Gum Thickeners and film formers. Natural gum thickener.
10. Polysorbate 20Feeds Malassezia Surfactants. Solubiliser for oils and fragrance in water.
11. Jojoba OilPore-clogging 2/5Feeds Malassezia Emollients. Liquid wax ester close to sebum.
12. Potassium Sorbate Preservatives. Antifungal preservative, works at low pH.
13. Sodium Benzoate Preservatives. Food-grade preservative, works below pH 5.5.
14. Neem extract
15. Tamrind Extract
16. Gotu Kola Extract
17. Trisodium EDTA pH adjusters and chelators. Chelating
18. Vitamin E Acetate Antioxidants. Stable vitamin E ester.
