  4. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
  5. Isopropyl Palmitate Emollients. Binding, emollient, masking, perfuming
  6. Dimethicone Emollients. Non-volatile silicone, slip and light occlusion.
  7. Glyceryl Monostearate-SEFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Workhorse non-ionic emulsifier.
  8. Stearic Acid Surfactants. Cleansing, emulsifying, emulsion stabilising, masking, refatting, surfactant
