- Sorbito Humectant, plasticiser, skin conditioning
- Glyceryl monostearateFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Workhorse non-ionic emulsifier.
- Emulsifying wax
- Stearic acid Cleansing, emulsifying, emulsion stabilising, masking, refatting, surfactant
- Cetostearyl alcoholPore-clogging 2/5 Emollients. Fatty alcohol thickener and co-emulsifier.
- Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid
- Triethanolamine pH adjusters and chelators. Amine neutraliser.
- Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
- Kaolin Abrasive, absorbent, anticaking, bulking, cosmetic colorant, opacifying
- Purified water Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
- Phenoxyethanol Preservatives. The standard broad-spectrum preservative at up to 1 percent.
- Ethylhexyl glycerine Preservatives. Preservative booster and deodorising agent.
- Potassium sorbate Preservatives. Antifungal preservative, works at low pH.
- Butylated hydroxy toluene
