Aroma Treasures Sunscreen SPF 50 27 ingredients
  1. DM Water Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
  2. Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane Old-generation UV filters. UVA I filter that breaks down in sunlight unless stabilised.
  3. Benzophenone 3 Old-generation UV filters. Benzophenone-3, broad UVB and UVA II.
  4. Glyceryl Caprylate Emulsifiers. Emollient, emulsifying
  5. Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate Old-generation UV filters. Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, UVB. Degrades avobenzone.
  6. Octocrylene Old-generation UV filters. UVB filter and avobenzone stabiliser.
  7. Ethylhexyl Salicylate Old-generation UV filters. Ethylhexyl salicylate, weak UVB solvent-filter.
  8. Caprylic/Capric TriglycerideMalassezia borderline Emollients. Fractionated coconut triglyceride.
  9. Glyceryl MonostearateFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Workhorse non-ionic emulsifier.
  10. Titanium Dioxide Mineral filters and pigments. UVB particulate, often a booster in hybrids.
  11. Stearic Acid Surfactants. Cleansing, emulsifying, emulsion stabilising, masking, refatting, surfactant
  12. Cetyl AlcoholPore-clogging 2/5 Emollients. Fatty alcohol thickener.

  24. Sodium Benzoate Preservatives. Food-grade preservative, works below pH 5.5.
  25. Potassium Sorbate Preservatives. Antifungal preservative, works at low pH.
  26. Benzyl Alcohol Preservatives. Perfuming, preservative, solvent, viscosity controlling
  27. Sodium Hydroxide pH adjusters and chelators. Base for neutralising acids and carbomers.
