1. DM Water Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
2. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
3. Polysorbate 20Feeds Malassezia Surfactants. Solubiliser for oils and fragrance in water.
4. Caprylyl / Capryl Glucoside Surfactants. Cleansing, foaming, surfactant
5. Aloe Vera Juice
6. Extracts of Bearberry
7. Liquorice
8. Chamomile
9. Lotus
10. Calendula
11. Hibiscus
12. Barley & Brahmi
13. Oils of Lavender
14. Patchouli
15. Jasmine & Ylang Ylang
16. Carbomer Thickeners and film formers. Acrylic gel former, needs neutralising.
17. Latic Acid Actives. AHA with humectant effect.
18. Phenoxyethanol Preservatives. The standard broad-spectrum preservative at up to 1 percent.
19. Sodium Benzoate Preservatives. Food-grade preservative, works below pH 5.5.
20. Potassium Sorbate Preservatives. Antifungal preservative, works at low pH.
21. Benzyl Alcohol Preservatives. Perfuming, preservative, solvent, viscosity controlling
22. Sodium Hydroxide pH adjusters and chelators. Base for neutralising acids and carbomers.
