Aqualogica Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++++ 25 ingredients
  1. Aqua (Water) Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
  2. Titanium Dioxide Mineral filters and pigments. UVB particulate, often a booster in hybrids.
  3. Suncat DE
  4. Sodium Polyacrylate (Sodium Acrylates Copolymer) Thickeners and film formers. Quick-thickening polymer.
  5. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
  6. Zinc Oxide Mineral filters and pigments. Broad spectrum particulate, weak per gram.
  7. Xylitol Humectants. Humectant, skin conditioning
  8. PhospholipidsFeeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Phospholipid emulsifier and penetration aid.
  9. Caprylic Acid Surfactants. Cleansing, emulsifying, masking, perfuming, surfactant
  10. Glyceryl Stearate (Glyceryl Monostearate)Feeds Malassezia Emulsifiers. Workhorse non-ionic emulsifier.
  11. Dimethicone Emollients. Non-volatile silicone, slip and light occlusion.
  12. Hyaluronic Acid Humectants. Sits on the surface and holds water in a film.
  13. Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed OilFeeds Malassezia Emollients. Linoleic-rich oil, barrier support.
  14. Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) Antioxidants. Stable vitamin E ester.

  20. Sodium Benzoate Preservatives. Food-grade preservative, works below pH 5.5.

  23. Phenoxyethanol Preservatives. The standard broad-spectrum preservative at up to 1 percent.
