  5. Octyl methoxycinnamate Old-generation UV filters. Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, UVB. Degrades avobenzone.
  6. Homosalate Old-generation UV filters. Weak UVB filter needing 10 percent.
  7. Octisalate Old-generation UV filters. Ethylhexyl salicylate, weak UVB solvent-filter.
  8. Zinc Oxide Mineral filters and pigments. Broad spectrum particulate, weak per gram.
  9. C12-15 Alkyl BenzoateFeeds Malassezia Emollients. Medium ester, strong filter solvent.
  10. Isostearic Acid Surfactants. Binding, cleansing, emulsifying, surfactant
  11. Polyhydroxystearic Acid Emulsifiers. Emulsifying
  12. Caprylyl Methicone Emollients. Volatile silicone with good filter compatibility.
