Aqualogica Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA++++ 40 ingredients
  1. Aqua Water, the base most formulas are built on. It dissolves the other ingredients
  2. C12-15 Alkyl BenzoateFeeds Malassezia Emollients. Medium ester, strong filter solvent.
  3. Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate Old-generation UV filters. Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, UVB. Degrades avobenzone.
  4. Dimethicone Emollients. Non-volatile silicone, slip and light occlusion.
  5. Sodium Acrylates Copolymer Thickeners and film formers. Binding, film forming, opacifying, viscosity controlling
  6. Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane Old-generation UV filters. UVA I filter that breaks down in sunlight unless stabilised.
  7. Glycerin Humectants. The reference humectant. Cheap, proven, works at 3 to 10 percent.
  8. Benzophenone-3 Old-generation UV filters. Benzophenone-3, broad UVB and UVA II.
  9. 1,3-Butylene Glycol
  10. Phenoxyethanol Preservatives. The standard broad-spectrum preservative at up to 1 percent.

  35. E-Ascorbic Acid Actives. Pure vitamin C, needs pH 3.5 and 10 to 20 percent.
